Teachers are the school’s most valuable resource. The emphasis on the professional development of its faculty is legendary.Together the staff and students share accountability for the progress of the school. The school’s reforms and the success of the programmes have seen enrolments grow along with the public reputation of the school. Teachers work from a learner’s focus rather than a content view of learning It provides an ambience comprising state of art, infrastructure, unparallel technical expertise, diligent faculty and above all instilling value based on our rich Indian tradition and ancient culture. It offers the students excellent academic exposure through various educational programmes, conferences, workshops, exhaustive library and extention lectures by eminent personalities. The present strength of the school is more than thousand.
‘Tamasoma Jyothir gamaya” Education dispels ignorance and leads us from darkness to light.Education is the process of instruction aimed at the all round development. The nation’s vitality depends upon a well-educated citizenry.

The school has adopted extensive use of audio visual aids by incorporating them in their day to day instruction process. We consider that visual education has a greater perceptive and impact on the growing minds of the students. Also, the lessons become more exciting if they are taught attractively rather than the customary text book teaching. Remedial coaching is lucratively conducted for academically challenged students. Each year many students bring laurels to the school by scoring more than 500 marks in the Secondary Board Examinations and achieve above ninety five percent marks in all the subjects.

In addition to academics and various sports-games, there are many co-curricular activities which are floored ostentatiously throughout the year. The school is endowed with modern spacious and well-equipped library and laboratory. Parent Teacher meetings and counseling classes are taken for the students and parents sporadically.

The Headmistress and the staff relentlessly strive for the betterment of the school. The first school magazine “Praja Ranjani” was released in 1978 to provide an opportunity for the students to express their creative talents.

Mr K Ramdas made a historic achievement by standing III in the state in SSC Public Examinations during the year 1972-73.

Students win many prizes in literary, cultural, sports and games competitions being conducted at school level.

As we bask in our early achievements we are also very cognizant of the continual leaps in teaching methodologies around us and our constant endeavor is to excel in all aspects of education and to keep the flag flying high…..
