People’s upper Primary School Ashokagar was established in 1972.It has English
Medium and later Telugu was introduced as Medium of instruction.
We focus on the academic excellence and on developing socially well-integrated and
morally upright individuals.This co-educational school has earned a name among the
twin cities.
Modern brain development theories confirm that children have an incredible ability
to learn.The key is to provide them exposure to a variety of inputs (language, technology,
arts) at an early age, and to allow them to develop a taste in their particular
area of interest.The school has rapidly grown with the strength of more than 600
students on its roll. By the untiring efforts of the management the school was upgraded
as People’s Upper Primary School in the year 1981-1982 and since then the school
is treated as a separate institution. It helps students to acquire a wide range
of skills which will enable them to meet the challenges of changing society.It hopes
that children enjoy their education.It strives to provide an environment, which
enables child to achieve high academic standards to develop an understanding of
self and to care about the world in which they live. It hopes that together we will
create happiness, success and fulfillment.
The students enthusiastically participate in Inter School Competitions and come
out proudly winning several prizes.
The school had the proud privilege of welcoming the Japanese Survey Team
from Educational Affairs, Ministry of Education from Japan in the year 1975.
In the year 1976 ‘Aurora' a literary school souvenir was released to tap
the creative energies of the students.
In recognition of the dedicated services of the teachers, the management got Grant
in Aid for the teachers in the year 1978.

The school emblem is "Tama soma jyotirgamaya" which means dispel the "agnandakaram
by the light of education"

is very efficient in training children and preparing them well in curricular and
co-curricular activities especially in Montessori methods.
Under the dynamic guidance of the management, co-operation of the staff and the
